Pasture Raised Soy Free Corn Free Eggs

It's the time of year when the flock lays little to zero eggs, and the time of year when demand is highest. Eggs are available in the store sporadically and sell out quickly so order early and check back often. We limit eggs this time of year in alternating bundle purchases, to give more customers a chance to purchase some eggs vs a few customers purchasing all of the eggs. We don't tweak the flock's native laying cycle nor our husbandry practices, to meet the demand and we hope you appreciate our slow and seasonal standards. Once upon a time, our grandparents expected not to have any eggs come Autumn/Winter because they knew hens break from laying! But modern grocery stores make eggs available all year long. Please be patient with our flock (and us), come Spring/Summer when our flock is prolific, we don't limit eggs. 

Our flock is 100% on pasture 24/7/365, soy free corn free and supplemented with certified whole-seed organic and non-GMO feed. The flock is provided sprouted seeds and legumes and sprouted organic whole feed to free choice from, but both hens and roosters prance around at free will on pasture, so that the majority of their diet is bugs, grubs, insects, chlorophyll (green pasture grass) and carotenoids (yellow, orange & red little flowers with antioxidant properties), and essential beta carotene (which converts into vitamin A). Eggs which come from hens on pasture, living outdoors, cannot technically be called "organic" (same as wild caught fish which cannot be labeled "organic" ) but our practices are beyond USDA Organic Standards. Because we choose not to wash off the native bloom, we sell our eggs as Livestock Feed Not for Human Consumption, per Florida regulations.
